RLC notch filters
Interesting posts guys. I was not aware of the power problems due to my headphones being of low impedance. I've played around with using a single lower Q digital PEQ notch setting and it didn't sound as good, nor chart out as nicely. Interesting that you brought up sennheiser. I used a...- Jonomega

RLC notch filters
Right now, I am using IIEQ through Foobar2K w/ VST plug in. I am interested in getting the same effect but for all programs and figured a hardware solution would do this as I haven't found a soundcard level software that could do it. I have zero experience with...- Jonomega

Quick Emu 0202 question
I've been studying the noise profile a bit more and it seems to occur everytime my CPU spikes to any magnitude (doesn't have to be 100% cpu usage). The frequency of the noise is roughly 500 hz (a "c" above middle "c" on the piano tuned slightly flat along with the stereotypical "hiss". Just...- Jonomega

Quick Emu 0202 question
I'm pretty new to the headphone community since I typically listen to my high-end stereo (which is boxed up for the moment). I am using my Dell e1505 laptop as source and the onboard sound solution seems to inject some random occasional noises into my music (especially when I listen at low...- Jonomega
