Think if u want a transportable unit, better just stay at 3602 & 8802, at least u can close the cover and bring the 05Pro out to enjoy. If I have to make a choice, and don't mind to use the amp only indoors, I will pick V7C over 2590. Think if I can hear V7C a bit better than 8802A, and it is...- Jeffyue

Finally got my V7 Classic. So did a brief run between HA8802A, SS2590 and V7 Classic. Using ROHM card and HD800s. To my surprise, I enjoy HA8802A + ROHM the most. Yonme it sounds like "music", and it is easy for my brain with the music flow naturally. I can listen to my files the whole day...- Jeffyue

Finally got this PCI adapter sit in properly with the extra plastic strip .. Have been using SS3602 and it sounds fantastic to me with HD800S. Going to do some op amp rolling (mainly for Burson V6). Don't know if it needs time to burn in, but first impression is that V6 is not as spacious as...- Jeffyue

I use a normal nail clippers to do the job. I didn't file the remaining down to flat though Cut until u can sit the op amp fully on the board, and mine left with like 0.5-1mm left.- Jeffyue

Well I didn't manage to secure the riser, so never tried to see if and how it works with the other op amp like Burson V6. Thanks for the advice on DIY the rise board and secure the screw. Will give it a try. Guess should not be too hard even though I am not a hands-on DIY person.- Jeffyue

Hi Ben, I did ordered the mini pci-e opamp riser, but have problem in securing it with the screw. The riser has both screw holes different from the original op amp board (illustrated below with the op amp board upside down). So just wonder how we can secure the riser board to the original op...- Jeffyue
