I use a normal nail clippers to do the job. I didn't file the remaining down to flat though Cut until u can sit the op amp fully on the board, and mine left with like 0.5-1mm left.

Well I didn't manage to secure the riser, so never tried to see if and how it works with the other op amp like Burson V6. Thanks for the advice on DIY the rise board and secure the screw. Will give it a try. Guess should not be too hard even though I am not a hands-on DIY person.

Hi Ben, I did ordered the mini pci-e opamp riser, but have problem in securing it with the screw. The riser has both screw holes different from the original op amp board (illustrated below with the op amp board upside down). So just wonder how we can secure the riser board to the original op...

Is there any "mini pci-e op amp board riser" suitable to XD05PRO available in the market please? Would like to try to plug the Xudoo op amp board on the top so we can plug in op amp like burson V6 or v7.

Just plugged in the Sparkos to replace my V5di. It just gives new space dimension to my HD800S. A must have and once you have it s hard to go back

Yap, I still love my N3Pro too. Think will get N3U too as I would like to connect the tube LO to XD05PRO. My C9 tray is gone, and don't know how long it would take to get a new tray (@Andykong can give some advice please?) If I have the C9, can try the pre-out for N3U to see if it works fine.

I think N3Pro would be your targeted DAP. Maybe one with a spoiled WiFi and BT will get a bigger discount from the resale market?

Finally contacted the Xudoo support via wechat. He sent me a new display PLUS a display cable, and also asked his engineer to show how to open the box up and change the display. Try to follow the steps and changed the display first, and no good. Then try to replace the display cable as well, and...

Update... Seems tray issue. Plugged in other tray and the unit still worked. Tried other set of battery, didn't work for my tray, but ok for the other. Thanks Zeppelin's crew for helping to pinpoint the issue. Now gotta wait for the new tray until my C9 will be utilized again...
