Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?
Today I learned from a Chinese review on YouTube that a triple tap on the right earbud of the Beoplay EX initiates Siri. I hadn’t seen this mentioned in any of B&O’s product info, or any other reviews. I tried it, and it does indeed work, but you don’t always get the ‘ding’ that tells you that...- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PI7
Another irritation that I've noticed is that sometimes, when I put them in my ears, there is a slight imbalance in the sound; showing a bias to the right channel. I listen to lots of electronic/dance music where the bass drum is almost always dead centre in the mix, so it's quite noticeable when...- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PI7
Visiting London for the first time in 18 months yesterday, I can understand how people’s experiences of the PI7 have differed so wildly. i live on the south coast of England and had experienced the odd, very brief dropout when using them. However, when I arrived at St Pancras yesterday (major...- jaymbee

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 2 (MTW2)
I sent my MTW2s back today after I experienced a bunch of drop outs, followed by the right earbud’s touch controls ceasing working completely. A big shame as the sound was impressive.- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
They have been released. They’re available in the US and UK right now. They sound great, but noise cancellation is very disappointing.- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I bought a pair of the PI4 last week and sent them back a couple of days later. Very disappointing, barely noticeable noise cancellation. Nice sound though,- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I think you naturally tend to get more people who are disappointed wanting to discuss their shortcomings than happy people praising them. i absolutely love mine, and I much prefer them to the previous PX. I also prefer them to the Sonys, and myriad other ANC headphones that I’ve tried.- jaymbee

I'd like to see 3rd party tips, but crucially they'll have to fit inside the charging case to retain the AirPods' convenience.- jaymbee

I’m just on my way home where my PX7s are waiting. Now crossing my fingers that I don’t have rattling button syndrome.- jaymbee

Bowers & Wilkins PX7 noise-cancelling over ear headphones
I don't subscribe to the marketing theory of limited supply. It's one day after launch and they're already in short supply. Companies like B&W aren't huge and the wireless ANC market is now very crowded and competitive. Additionally, I bet they sell the most in Q4 - that's why products like this...- jaymbee

Ah. I wondered why I have been experiencing problems with my iPhone and the headphones. How could Sony possibly have foreseen that a new version of iOS would be coming out, despite the betas being released to developers in June of EVERY year?- jaymbee

You could cut a piece of something to place on the charging contacts when you don’t want to charge them, but there isn’t a feature that does this, no.- jaymbee

Official Sony WF-1000XM3 Thread - Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earphones
I was a bit alarmed by this at first, but then I realised that the indicator in the app is quite crude. it seems to jump down in large chunks. So while the left might discharge slightly faster, it will be at 69% which gets reported as 70%, while the right which is on 71% gets reported as 100%...- jaymbee
