Best DAP for streaming (only) - interface, wi-fi stability, ease of use, etc.
I grabbed a hiby r6 iii during their black Friday sale, and have nothing negative to say about this dap. I mainly listen to it at the office, either listening to music on my sd card or streaming Spotify. I can’t a difference between the A & AB amp, so i use the AB amp, and can easily get 8...- jamweiser

Upgrading from ibasso dx160
I'm looking at upgrading my dap that i use during the week to listen to either music I have on my sd card, Spotify, or nugs. Loving the overall sound of the dx160. Since i listen in an office, I use iem's. My current usage is: Noble Encore, 7hz Timeless, Hook-x, Tangzu Wu Zetian The daps...- jamweiser

DX320 ROHM dac chips, Android 11, AMP11MK2s. *******NEW FW: 2.07*******
It's been a few years since I've had a droid phone, but the ways i've previously accomplished what you are describing is by downloading and installing a different launcher. I have that applied to my dx160, so the only visible apps are the music apps I use.- jamweiser

RAPTGO HOOK-X In Ear Monitor
After months of listening to the Hook-X, Timeless 7hz, Tangzu Zetian Wu, I've found that the Hook-X sounds best to me, and my musical taste. For the vast majority of my exploration into the hobby, I've always enjoyed listening the products without any eq'ing. In the past few months I've...- jamweiser

RAPTGO HOOK-X In Ear Monitor
The bass on the Wu Zetain is impressive. It doesn't have the midrange that the hook-x brings, but overall I'm finding it really hard picking one over the other, since both sound good. It's not a boomy bass, it just sounds good when it's present in a track. The width of the soundstage is...- jamweiser

Planar Wars 2022: LETSHOUER S12 Vs 7Hz Crinacle Dioko Vs Tin HiFi P1 Max
Received these yesterday and been giving them a try. TangZu Ze Tian Wu. They're decent, been listening to the hook-x for the past few weeks. Comparing the two, hook-x has a warm, mid focused, with vocals sometimes sounding behind the instruments. On the Ze Tian Wu, they sound a little...- jamweiser

RAPTGO HOOK-X In Ear Monitor
Should have bought this one in the first place 🤣 Love how these sound with live bootlegs/recordings. The mid bass is enjoyable on this set The timeless was a good introduction to planar iem's. Dioko is just too bright, good for edm, but useless on other genres Unless eq'd. Ended up also...- jamweiser

7hz x Crinacle Dioko Thread
I've never messed with eq'ing any of my headphones or iem's in the past. I decided to give it a try on my dx160 for this set, bumping up the db's in the sub bass, mid bass on the parametric eq. And decided to bump up the upper midrange . Sounds good with my local files, more enjoyable than...- jamweiser

Swapped the kbear copper cable for a kbear silver cable. Synergy still lacks, but it's listenable. Tempted to pickup the hook-x. Damn this hobby 🤣- jamweiser

That's beyond my hobbyist knowledge.... I prefer listening and relaxing, or working..... This side of the state doesn't offer as much fun as the NW corner does. But the beauty is, there's many destinations only a few hours drive from here.- jamweiser

7Hz Impressions & Discussion
To my ears, It lacks the synergy of the Timeless. Its not bad overall, guess one can say it's more neutral compared to the Timeless. With the timeless, the volume is at 45. On the dioko the volume is at 50, so maybe they require more juice 🤷🏼♂️- jamweiser

I've had the Timeless for only a month, and received the Dioko on Friday. Still comparing the two, but I have noticed when listening to the Dioko, I'm turning the volume up more than the Timeless. I did swap cable with a 4.4mm balanced cable, and use Low gain on my dx160- jamweiser
