I have a titanium HD and PC360s (Soon to be HE-500s), and I can tell you that audio positioning is great.  I highly recomment the sound card, it looks great (which only matters if you're a DIY PC buff like me) and sounds fine.  The features are a plus, too.

Very good points all around, I'm just not sure where I'll be ae to sample these things in the near future. Are there any audio stores in Southern California that let people demo, let alone stores that have all if the equipment that I would want to try? If I can't find anything I think I'll go...

Arg I'm having a pretty terrible (heh) time choosing the right amp, so many choices... I've now seen the Yulong D100 which, aside from being a very nice DAC, also has a very nice amp built in, something that 's supposed to be on par with the Matrix M-Stage.  I save money going with the D100...
