Yamaha EPH-100
Wow they look like an awesome style, price is a bit steep but typical for monster. They're so similar to the EPHs, wish someone had a comparison... It's not a defective batch, as I've had mine replaced by a completely different supplier. On top of that, we're talking about inside...- Increesingly2

Velodyne vPulse Review - Bass lovers rejoice!!!
Had the EPHs and from the reviews it seems that the Vpulse has deeper bass with bigger quantity, more rumbling and subwoofer like. Less bright sound and less clarity.- Increesingly2

Yamaha EPH-100
Definitely a possibility, I've got a friend getting them soon, I'll definitely be trying them after what I've heard round here. They look good but the problem is that they're over ear, which is a lot of effort for someone that uses earphones around university. Cheers for the suggestion...- Increesingly2

Yamaha EPH-100
If you haven't tried it yet, try taking the bud off and blowing into the speakers. If that doesn't work, bang the broken earphone into your hand several times. These earphones have major condensation issues and as someone that owned a pair, I experienced it around 4 or 5 times (in 3 months)...- Increesingly2

Yamaha EPH-100
I definitely can't afford those anyway. Aren't there any similar to the Ephs with higher bass? I actually tried apple earpods and found they had stronger bass (much ****ter clarity) but their bass is quiet good for 40$ earphones. There must be something like that around the EPH price point right?- Increesingly2

Just lost my EPH-100s, what should I get now?
So I've misplaced my Yamaha EPH-100's and I'm pretty sure they're gone for good. I bought them following my thread here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/661757/looking-for-bass-and-clarity-recommend-me-an-iem-200/15#post_9404186 Now, I'm looking for a similar IEM in terms of basically...- Increesingly2

Looking for BASS and clarity, recommend me an IEM... <$200
Quote: Man I would love to buy them, honestly, but i don't have the time to put them in and around my ears when walking around University. It's just too unpractical, searching up the fit, they do have a great form factor for box-like iems - with the entirity of them sitting in your ear...- Increesingly2

Looking for BASS and clarity, recommend me an IEM... <$200
Quote: On the technicas, as usual, AT has created unbelievable sound, unbelievable quality but sacrificed look. Big sad face I want the GR07BE's but I just don't have the money to take the risk, also they are over-ears :( Sad thing is they are apparantly bass-oriented ...- Increesingly2

Ok reading up some reviews, I'm now lost again. Apparantly, both Yamaha-EPH100 and Turbines suit my taste.... But Turbines are heavy pieces of **** that fall out of your ears and protrude - making them a stupid choice for walking around University..... Is this the same with Yamaha-EPH100?- Increesingly2

Quote: This pair seems to be good, I can't find that price anywhere though. I'll PM u now :) On a note of the earphones themselves, do they protrude from the head? And do they isolate well? Quote: I have seen all these before (except Turbine Coppers) and they...- Increesingly2

Looking for BASS and clarity, recommend me an IEM... <$200
Quote: To Australia, cheapest is $240 which still kinda sucks coz $200 was basically my upper limit. Next time maybe, or when I'm rich.... :( Quote: Ok checked them both, reviews seem to reflect the kind of sound I'm seeking but the only problem is that they are...- Increesingly2

Long story short I like bass. I have been struggling to find good earphones since forever... all I want is an IEM that will provide. I listen to Hip Hop and Trance - Lows and Highs... Mids can suffer for all I care Here's a video with the kind of sounds I want to hit well: ...- Increesingly2
