At first, I could only have them on my head for about an hour or so.   After some extensive use and minor stretching, I got used to them and can wear them for many hours on end (4+ hours).    Of course the ears get quite hot, but it's not that bad.

IMHO, the D2000 would savagely destroy the P5 in terms of sound quality and comfort.   I've auditioned the P5 and I can confidently say that I am greatly disappointed. I mean... the P5 are really sleek looking headphones, it's just a shame that they had to sound the way they did...

The HD-25 is probably one of the best choice and for good reason too. Bulletproof build, excellent bass impact without drowning your highs (or the mids for that matter) and good isolation, all of what you need for your awesome mix session. It's not supreme comfy (unlike, say... Beyerdynamics...

Unless you want a very analytical sound. Don't get it. If you want really fun sounding headphones, with great bang for the buck, then buy em' and love em'.
