I have a custom cable for my HD600 from customcansuk and noticed a difference. Not by lot but noticeable. But I just wanted a nice cable and thats what I got so my main reason to get a 3rd party cable was not sound quality.

Got the ESS DAC card this morning and just put it in the Asgard 3. Connect to my RoPieeXL streaming Qobuz via Roon and it works a charm. I like the sound signature and am pretty impressed so far. Well done Team Schiit.

Love my HD660S to bits but will get the HD560S for that exact reason. Thought about getting the HD6XX but those aren't really available in Europe exept you'll import. Fotunately I am from Germany and the Senns are reasonable priced and widely available here....

@FiiO I have a really hard time connecting the Q3 to my iPhone 6. I tried three different lightning to usb-c cables by now. Original apple cable, Anker Powerline+ and some cheap no name cable. My iPhone wont recognize the Q3 with none of them. It works perfectly with the small stock cable it...
