That hotfix doesnt work for windows 8.1

  Yeah, I updated the same computer from which the X3 DAC was working previously in windows 8. The same computer has only native usb 3.0 ports. It was working just fine out of the 3.0 port. I suspect it has something to do with windows 8.1 and it's compatibility with usb audio class 2...

All ports are natively usb 3.0. I'm going to try to re-install all the chipset drivers for windows 8.1. Maybe that will help.. thoughts?
