How do I reload the firmware?

Hello all. I'm sure that this question could be answered if I just peruse the thread a bit more, but I figure a reply wouldn't hurt either. I'm having several issues with my player. As some have noted, my buttons are sticking, the battery doesn't last long, and I feel the sound has mellowed out...

Hello Head-Fiers. Ran into a problem today with my Studio-V, 3rd Anniversary. Upon turning on the player this evening (I had been using it during the day with no issue), the screen displayed something which said "Repair and Fo" (which I can only assume means "Format") with the option of saying...

Alright, it appears the problem was that one of the small screws holding down the electronics on the inside came out. I screwed it back down and now all is well. Phew.   However, when I looked at the battery, it looked as though battery acid may have been leaking. It may just have been...

Thanks. I actually just found on a website how to open it. However, I'm not sure that it's the battery. From the looks of it the battery is pretty big, and this sounds like a little piece floating around. Any ideas?  

Could you possibly explain how to open it? Thanks much for the help!
