How long is the cable?

A Raal is on my list. I'd like to know how they sound for critical listening. I just got a new CD yesterday, Diana Panton: Soft Winds and Roses. I used ZMF VOs and the vocals and piano sounded near perfect. I'll try the XTC open tonight to see if they add anything different.

Great description. I used to have Kingsound electrostats with their tube amp. As you stated, they were fast, but I eventually sold them because of the lack of bass.

Currently I have the Woo plugged into the CMX2+ which is plugged into a separate outlet. I tried the amp plugged into a separate dedicated 30 amp outlet I had installed for my stereo rig, but without the CMX2+, and it still hummed. I think I'll contact Woo again after I investigate further.

Thanks for your response. I'm moving out of state later this year to live in town with, hopefully, better power. I'll look into the Furman, but am worried that if the CMX2+ didn't work, maybe that wouldn't help either? Is it possible that transformers go bad?

Need help with hum! Actually need help to get rid of hum. I bought my WA22 used about 5 years ago and had only heard a slight hum with my ears next to the transformers. The only hum I heard coming from the headphones was rectified by switching tubes. However, during the last several months...

I'd love to hear those, but am curious as to why you would wait 12 months to receive them, open, test, then list for sale 2 days later?

I have the XTC Open, Beryllium, Near Scalpel, elevated bass. My favorite pads are the fuzzies. Can anyone describe the difference I would hear if I used the Ultra Thick Angled Pads? I'm not looking to "fix" anything, just wondering what the new pads would bring to the game.

Just curious, which Woo amp did you compare it to?
