That's a good idea. My opens have a beryllium driver and near scalpel tuning. Maybe Biowool would be complimentary?

Can anyone describe the comfort with Dekoni pads and glasses? With the Diana pads, I do not get a good seal at all with glasses on. TIA

The gap is 1mm. The difference is that the gap is all the way around compared to several ports . I listened to more music and I don't think I am lacking for more bass with the small washers.

I thought it was subtle when compared without, but I'm still waiting to try different music. I'll probably try ported pads at some point though.

I would like to try the ported pads, but the price is a little high to experiment. For $8, the improvement is pretty good. I'm going to listen to more music to confirm.

I just received washers to allow a gap for increased bass. At first I tried the 5X2 size as suggested, but they fall off too easy. The smallest size, 3X1, stay on better and provide a small gap that increases the bass enough to where it's more enjoyable than without. I have a new silver plated...

I received the Caldera Ultra Perf pads after Zach suggested them when I posted that I could use more high frequency emphasis. Before I was using the Universal pads which had the best comfort. Now I'm happy with the Ultra Perf's comfort and high frequencies.

What earpads are those?

I've been reading about the bass ported rings. Can they be purchased separately, and how are they used?

What size zipped pad did you use? The Diana band is 1 1/2", and they offer one that width. Do you think that will fit properly?

It looks good, but I noticed it doesn't extend the whole length. Do you find that makes any difference?

Thanks for the Amazon link. I don't think I want to glue anything, but the zippered pad looks like it may work. The Beautiful Audio pads look great, but a bit expensive at $100.
