Yes you can turn it off and adjust it's volume. Muting doesn't make any difference to the electrical noise I hear when it's on.

Yeah sliding down is fine, up is just much more force but as you mentioned using a fingernail on the grooves does help just a small pain/niggle that way at least, thanks.

Thanks I'm an idiot, serves me right for not double checking on lunch! I would say the app should support dongle connection rather than only Bluetooth but at least this can be set so it's a minor niggle now.

Thanks I will check that out, only tried it on my phone for a moment but it doesn't let you do it via the android app, infact the app only works if you use Bluetooth as it won't even show the headphones if using the dongle on phone.
