Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
I don't see a need for it to be connected to mute as it should be always on really. What I need to see is the sidetone electrical/static noise being fixed as it's unusable to me, the noise it produced from nothing is too loud at any level which forces me to turn it off entirely as I don't want...- hicks12

Yes you can turn it off and adjust it's volume. Muting doesn't make any difference to the electrical noise I hear when it's on.- hicks12

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
Yeah sliding down is fine, up is just much more force but as you mentioned using a fingernail on the grooves does help just a small pain/niggle that way at least, thanks.- hicks12

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
So after using these for a day it's been pretty good I think. I noticed the noisefloor now but while it is noticeable it's nothing like the Penrose so it's a tolerable level and the best of all the top wireless headphones I've tried. Can't use sidetone as it has very noticeable and...- hicks12

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
Thanks I'm an idiot, serves me right for not double checking on lunch! I would say the app should support dongle connection rather than only Bluetooth but at least this can be set so it's a minor niggle now.- hicks12

Thanks I will check that out, only tried it on my phone for a moment but it doesn't let you do it via the android app, infact the app only works if you use Bluetooth as it won't even show the headphones if using the dongle on phone.- hicks12

Audeze - Our Maxwell Gaming Headsets! (latest: Firmware v61 and HQ v97)
Alright mine arrived today from HFH which is decent. Can I ask a silly question? Is it possible to change the volume of the system notifications? E.g. power on, usb connected etc? I really don't understand why these notifications are seemingly ran at max volume, it's physically painful to me...- hicks12

My hifiheadphones order has just been flagged as shipped with RM tracking so looks like they have been processing UK orders for Maxwell today. Looking forward to seeing how these compare to my current setup.- hicks12

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Hi again. Would just like to say thanks mad lust for the amazing reviews I finally made my decision, gone for the Sony MNA as some kind soul pointed out the 130 quid Amazon seller which seems legit :). Maybe when I fancy a change in years to come I'll look at getting the x1 or its successors (if...- hicks12

Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide: (8/18/2022: iFi GO Blu Review Added)
Hi mad lust, have just read through your OP and must say I appreciate the detail and effort you put in, however may I ask for some advice? Currently have been using my AD700s for a few years and want a change as I feel they're too analytical and really not "fun" think the bass side is partly...- hicks12

USB sound card for Music/Gaming and Microphone in
Its an asus p8z77-i mini itx board, downsized a lot this year and one of the sacrifices was the XiFi Gamer card (the original one... not the cheaper rebrand!) :P. Yeah that Omni one does seem better the more I look at it so I will probably go for that, got nothing to write down on my...- hicks12

USB sound card for Music/Gaming and Microphone in
Hi Guys, currently I am using onboard for my sound and microphone connections which is a Realtec ALC898, this doesnt seem that great for music/films and primarily gaming (used to use a dedicated Xi-Fi titanium soundcard), the motherboard I am using now doesnt have the slots required for internal...- hicks12

Which headset for gaming, music and some movies?
Thanks for the replies guys, maybe I should rethink what I want as the soundstage is great on the AD700s but they do feel just too analytical and I think that is to do with the lack of bass with them. So would it be a tall order for a headphone with a wide sound stage (near the ad700s) but with...- hicks12
