    Audio-Technica ATH-ESW9 and ATH-ESW9A Thread

    Hi, I've read loads of reviews talking about how the ESW9 sounding divine with female vocals, but would love to know how does it fare with the deep male vocals? Would the lower end sound too thick with these headphones? Love to hear some opinions from those that own these cans. :)

    Thanks! :) Seems like they'll do fine without an amp for now.   I've always heard the AD2000 being praised for female vocals, but how do they fare with deep male vocals?

    I've been lurking around the forums reading reviews on headphone, yet I'm having trouble gauging the mids between these two headphones. I've read some reviews claiming that the ESW9 has a more forward mids than the SRH840 and vice versa and would love if someone who has heard both to chime in...
