    Thanks for the reply. No..i'm from india/kerala.. only sennheiser products are available nearby.. how much of a difference does an amp make anyway ? is it worth investing another 1.7k on amp alone !?

    Bit of dilemma of buying one of these in sennheiser HD 4x series [419-449] i like more bass.. but adding to that i like to have crystal clear sound too. Read a lot of reviews here..still not able to decide on one. i read that 439 carry more bass and detachable wires.. [which i like more but]...
