    I heard the amp should match the amp. For instance a 300ohn driver should be paired with OLT amps for best sound. and a low impedance driver like 30 or 63 or what ever should be fine with almost any amp.

    you think they will drive the XTC headphones? They are I think 63ohm or 64 ohm.

    I had all the good Beyerdynamic the 1990 and 990 but my fav were DT150 300ohm and even owned a DT100- but the headband dug into the center of my head and really was unbearable same with Neuman headphone the NDH30 that headband is like a rock digging in. I really do miss the 150s except for pain...
