I think they are pretty identical? It could be just me, because I have no fitting problem with most IEMs I've tried (even with the good old sf.5 pro and sony h3)- hatry

Yea unfortunately I have to let them go... (I'm the seller) In fact the FX850's are totally a steal at their MSRP and I don't feel the IE800's worth the price premium. I just want to get an end-game (maybe) IEMs and quit searching for another set- hatry

Agree, IE8 really need lotsssss of time to burn in, give your IE8 some times and you'll find how impressive is the IE8- hatry

Should I return my HD555s?
I think HD555 is not good for rock, get a grado instead IMO I won't do the foam mod if I still want to return the HD555- hatry

Grado SR80i vs. Sennheiser HD 555
I only tried HD595 and SR80i IMO, they are totally different sonically, SR80i is more aggressive than to HD595 I will say both are good cans so it really depends on what genres you frequently listen- hatry

Looking for IEM <$250 similar to RE-0
I've never listened to RE-0 but have you ever consider the MMDT? IMO at least they are good for the genres you like. They're on sale right now and you can get them for ~$250 on Amazon and J&R- hatry
