Gustard H20 headphone amp
That is what I thought. Which is why mandrake50s comment confused me. But thanks for clearing it up.- Hardtrancing

Gustard H20 headphone amp
So if I where to only use a balanced DAC with the balanced inputs of the H20, the opamps won't come into play at all?- Hardtrancing

Audio-gd R2R DAC Thread
How do the Audio-gd R2R modules compare to the ES9038 when talking about sound signature? I am not sure which I should go for, as I have found it difficult to find anything concrete about the differences. If anyone with experiences with both could chime in, I would appreciate it.- Hardtrancing

Audio-GD Master 9
Mine on low-gain, single-ended levels out at 10+, with the right channel being stronger below. Same happens using XLR-out to my active speakers.- Hardtrancing

Audio-GD Master 9
I just noticed that there is now a 2017 version, as of may. However I can't find anywhere mentioning what the difference is.- Hardtrancing

New Audio-gd R-7, R-7HE R-8, R-27, R-27HE, R-28 Flagship Resistor Ladder DACs and DAC/amps
This DAC looks very interesting. I am wondering though how it would compare to something like the new NFB-7.77 with dual ES9038.- Hardtrancing

New headphone amplifier from Bryston
I can see that the BHA-1 has balanced outs at the back, are they for pre-out to an amp/active speakers? I am wondering about this since there is no switch at the front for HP/Pre.- Hardtrancing

Beyerdynamic DT-1770: Product Info, Discussion and Impressions
I had the rattling/distortion issue in the right driver, some weeks ago. I was told to open them and check if there were any hairs in. There were no hairs. However after I had closed them, I decided to try them again, and magically the rattling was gone. My best guess, is that the wires might...- Hardtrancing

Audio-GD Master 9
Closed have been working best for me, the open ones I have tried have been bass-shy, except for the DT990. But this is beside the point, I'm not intending on changing my current ones. I'm quite happy with them and I just want to push even more quality out of them. I have already heard that...- Hardtrancing

Audio-GD Master 9
The part I don't get is why the HD6x0 should be better than the DT1770. It sounds like a downgrade to me, since they are not in the same price range (I know price isn't everyting).- Hardtrancing

I see what you mean about the M9 being an expensive amp for my headphones. But I don't see why I should replace my Beyers with Sennheisers?- Hardtrancing
