Changing the LED in the Little Dot 1+
I found the blue LED to be too bright and it didn't match the soft orange glow of the tubes or my CD player so I choose to change it. I emailed David about it and he told me that it was a pretty simple operation and I could use almost any 3mm LED. I chose one from Vishay Semiconductors (Digikey...- HappyOne

The Official Grado 325i Owners Club.
I have Gold #8394 that I just picked up from another member here. I think they are just under a year old. Anyway, I am using an older Yamaha CDP and a Little Dot 1+ and the sound is absolutely wonderful. IMHO, these phones need amplification to sound their best and, due to their design, you need...- HappyOne

Quick Little Dot I+ question, owners look!
I agree. You can increase the gain on the 1+ and you can likely get sufficient power to drive any headphone to a decent volume but the issue is more related to what type of amplification matches your headphones the best. Generally speaking low impedance headphones need a fair bit of current...- HappyOne

Thinking about trying tubes
I am certainly no expert but Grados seem to benefit from hybrid amps like the Little Dot 1+. Although you can increase the gain on that amp to support a 250 ohm headphone, I don't know how good a job it would do. I have Grados (32 ohm) and Shure SRH 440 (44 ohm) and they sound great with my...- HappyOne

Bravo Audio - funny looking little tube amps
I finally got mine after 4 weeks in transit. Anyone else having issues with buzzing from the power cord? If I move it around enough it eventually produces a thump and the lights brighten and the amp comes alive. I just emailed Henry to ask but maybe you have had his issue already too...- HappyOne

Headphone Stands
I had been searching around and almost pulled the trigger on the Woo one until I decided that I would get some nice wood and have a go at building a new design myself. I really like it and it holds two headphones easily.- HappyOne
