I need a cheap headphone stand (under $50 not including shipping) for the Denon AH-D5000s I just ordered. I currently have absolutely nothing in way of a headphone stand and was just laying my A700s on my desk, but I'm worried about denting/scratching the wood on the D5000s, and I'd like to display them, so I'm gonna pick up a stand.

Please link to a site where whatever you recommend can be purchased from if you don't mind. Wherever the stand comes from, the site needs to ship to Canada.

I have used banana holders and the Senn. stand that clips on a shelf. Don't have a current web link. The banana stand was a Euro design from Bed Bath and Beyond - suggested by my wife and worked pretty well. Under 20. Also the Senn stand was just under 20. I'll check if i can come up with a link for you.

Check your local discount stores. Kitchen section will carry banana holders, towel racks, and such for very low prices. I picked up this full brushed aluminum stand for 5 bucks while browsing through such a store.

The Woo Audio are also quite sturdy and solid. If you want "pretty wood" stands for multiple headphones that are very good for the price, I'd go for Von's. If you want some quality "industrial/metal" stands, I'd go for Woo's....
