Warning to anyone using an 0404 USB, it will not work in OSX Lion until Creative release 64bit drivers :( - Come on creative!

Doesn't work unless you boot Snow Leopard in 32bit (which is the default, but still). If you wish to use Snow Leopard in 64bit (why wouldn't you?), the Emu 0404 USB will not work

You'll just need the 0404 USB and an XLR cable.

I just got an SM58 -- plugged it into my 0404 USB and it's SUPER quiet. At full volume, I have to really shout into the mic to hear anything - shouting quite loud barely makes the -18dB light turn on with the volume set to +85db on the 0404. Any ideas what could be wrong?
