I just ordered a Bottlehead sex. It'll be my first DIY since building a Heathkit 12 band qraphic equalizer in the 80s. I hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. Had anyone built one of these little beauties?

I have had both Sennheiser PX100 and Etymotic ER6 for some time and thought they sounded great until I got Denon AH1001s and more recently AKG K701s. And yes, it's all the fault of Head-Fi. I used to think motorcycles were an expensive hobby

I bought one direct a couple of weeks ago. Had it in my hands 6 days after ordering. It's my first step into any type of quality audio, along with some Denon AH-D1001 phones, so I can't really say how good it is comparatively but it sure sounds good to me.
