Man I’m lost. I wasn’t trying to get anywhere. Just seeing how f pads compared to l pads on my RS2e. Now I need some tubes because it’s a Grado? Hell, it’s 2024 and my iPhone dongle kills it with my Grados. Just saying.

Decided to try flats on my RS2e’s. Definitely a stronger bass response. I personally find the bass just as defined as with bowls. Also, I’m not hearing any change to the mids and the highs are definitely not less, just a little more round from the increased bass. Verdict is still out.

Grado RS2e in excellent condition. Open to discuss trades on other Grado headphones, Hemps, 325x, etc.

I just want to say I didn’t expect a big difference, but these RS2e cans are exceptionally better than the SR325e. Midrange is still in full force but such a smoother and present treble and the bass doesn’t seem less, but more real and really holding it down for lack of better words. Those X...

Will also include a Turbulent Labs leather headband in mist.

Grado SR325is in Chrome. Had red back e drivers and the cable is terminated to 3.5mm. Comes with 1/4” adapter. Functions perfectly. Some lettering wearing off with age. Open to trades as well.

The RS2e arrived. Time to compare a bit.

I’ve had the 60x, 80x, 125x and currently use a pair of chrome 325is with e drivers as my daily driver. On Thursday I’ll take possession of a brown headband RS2e and man I am excited to see what the wood is all about.

Okay, I use an SR325is with e drivers as my daily drivers. I’ve heard the whole Prestige X line. Why is there so much talk about the 325 melting your eardrums with its brightness? Yeah, it’s bright and clear, like all the others. I don’t see the cups adding harsh brightness, just way better bass...

A question for the professionals around there. I use my iPhone and a dongle as my source. I’m currently using my sr325is with e drivers. I definitely find a difference from my previous sr125x cans. Does upgrading make any sense without upgrading source and/or amp also?
