Best MUSIC SERVER: WEISS 301, Aurender, LUMIN.... ? HELP !
I've owned the S10 for about 2 years, just sold it to get an X100L. I don't think you can really do a comparison, because basically the X100 is an S10 with the USB section from the W20. Simple as that. Aurender just announced a new component at Munich High End, a D2D converter in a slimline...- Good Times

Bob Carver Black Magic 20
Lovely amp. The author made the cable himself, it's basically 4x banana plugs into a female 1/4" headphone jack. Join the negatives.- Good Times

Can-con 2 (Sydney 2012) Meet Aug 18th 3:30 to 8:30pm (near Epping station)
Hi Guys, My Beyer T1s are not available for the meet, does anyone have anything they can let me use at my desk for the meet? If not, no worries - my display can be open for people to plug their own 'phones into anyway. Cheers, Cameron.- Good Times

Can-con 2 (Sydney 2012) Meet Aug 18th 3:30 to 8:30pm (near Epping station)
Count me in again this year! I think last year's venue worked well so long as it will accommodate the registered numbers.- Good Times

T1s or wait?
Just sold my HD600s after hearing a friend's T1s. Loved them in so many ways. I also much preferred a mate's LCD-2s but couldn't live with the ergos. Is now a smart to buy a new set of T1s though? With the new Hifi man stuff coming out amongst others, just not sure if the Beyers are going...- Good Times

HD650 or HD600?
I've owned both, then sold my 650s. I personally found the 600s better in every way and with every genre of music I played on them. I'd suggest the 600s.- Good Times

DIY LOD cable
Thin = good. It's flexible, and being line level you needn't worry about the current carrying capacity (i.e. the gauge). Go thin. 24g is great. You're never going to fit 16g in a LOD unless you severely trim some wire and then you risk shorting it at the junction.- Good Times

How to make an interconnect Step by Step With Pics
Heatshrink is an insulation that you use when wires are cut and exposed, and made its way as a strain relief as you noted. It's used on a y-split for convenience. You wouldn't ordinarily use it for the entire run, as it's unnecessary, and adds to the stiffness (=bad) of the cable. It's main use...- Good Times

Does the Mini^3 drive the HD600s well enough?
I have a Mini3 with HD600s and also use an XcanV3 on the desktop. I disagree and believe the Mini3 is fantastic for them. Often if I'm sitting down I'll still just keep the Mini3 rolling rather than switch over. Across the spektrum the sound is very balanced, and I'm rarely using more than...- Good Times
