XPAN will only get better. 4.2mbps is the current crop. The potential for it to up to 29mbps and up to 192khz is coming in the future. A 5 driver TWS with that is true end game for me

Hopefully XPAN becomes more adopted through dongles and more phones. Users are in for a treat. No longer is wireless bound by compression, but finally reaching the levels of what wired has been providing

Sound quality can be subjective depending on how they are tuned. The Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are great sounding. There are better audiophile tuned TWS out there. The improvement is huge when going to XPAN. Makes my other TWS feel obselete for me. Finally get the advantage of what wired audio has been...

Yes You need Xiaomi Ultra 15 and Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro WiFi version

Dropping from 4.2mbps 24/96 (WiFi) to 2.1mbps 24/48 (LE) is quite noticeable loss of quality. Wi-Fi Mode is comparable to true wired audio and dropping down to Bluetooth still sounds great but not as polished, defined and less realistic. At this point no Bluetooth codec can compare to XPAN

O just recently got the Global Xiaomi 15 ultra and CN Buds 5 Pro Wifi. No issues here. I can use Wi-Fi and Aptx Adaptive LE R4 with no issues

OMG. The Definition and clarity out of using Aptx Adaptive 4 WiFi or XPAN on the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Wifi is 🤯. 4.1mbps 24/96khz. Every other codec is currently dead to me
