I wish the MK V had one of those +/- dB analog meters on each channel that are found on vintage audio systems. I have no clue what they do, but they look cool when that needle bounces. I always wanted one of those.

Returned the CD5001 and picked up the CC4001. It has the same DAC and all, but the CC4001 (115dB) has an even better S/N ratio than the CD5001. It is also more expensive, but it is worth not having to open and close that damn door all the time. Putting in and removing 1 cd at a time gets old...
