Another amazing pair of headphone right out of the box. I still remember the agony of trying to find something that's comparable to Sony MDR-E888LP after the product was discontinued and the fake ones flooded the market. But after coming to Head-fi it's just quality headphones left and right...

I dropped my PK1 in water for 2~3 sec when I was working at sink today. After I picked them up.. the music is still coming out from PK1 so I washed them a little with tap water and left them drying for 2~4 hours and they still work as I write this post. I have read about possible driver damage...

using minibox-E+ with PK1 ipod with dock cable (tried Grado RS-1 as well) with all the Bass SFOR PtoS off... very nice sounding combo compare to my Home rig (see sig) at the friction of the home rig cost.

well.. Grado RS-1 still sounds better but its got plenty of burn-in already. PK1 sounds very similar to it in pre-burn-in condition except PK1's sound needs to be ... "opened" up.. it feels like there is a thin layer of paper between the sound and my ear. PK1 is cheap (ok.. compare to a $700...
