It is intresting, anyone will buy one?

funny thing being.. I said to myself "stick a diamond in and it would be most expensive" when I saw the thread title.. haha

Bah, I'll be impressed when they make the whole earbud out of diamond composite.

I am pretty impressed with the one in this thread already... putting diamond on electronic that "heats" up never seemed to be a good idea to me.. diamond + fire/high heat = good old carbon.

diamond is actually an outstanding thermal conductor at temperatures that do not destroy it.

Koetsu are doing all sorts of precious stone options for their carts these days. Although I dont think diamond is one.

I don't think it does matter that much for those people who will buy it. It becomes sort of collection instead of daily use.

And you are right, this probably not for head-fi'ers
