Roll Call: Who's building, built, or thinking of building a beta22?
so far, all my components are default from the glass jar audio kit. I did not notice there is a capacitor upgrade option in the order form, otherwise for only 20 dollar more, i will really consider it. (IPodPJ, looks like you have the capacitors upgrade ) I am thinking about the DACT attenuator...- fsrick

Roll Call: Who's building, built, or thinking of building a beta22?
Hi all, I am wondering if it is worthy to upgrade the capacitors on beta22. I am using Nichicon HE series now, upgrading them to KZ (muse) series does not cost much, but just need some work to replace them. have any body done the capacitor upgrade and have noticeable improvement? any information...- fsrick

+6dB means the gain is double. in log scale, "+" is "x" in linear scale, from (x)db=20*log(Y), for 6 db, Y=2.- fsrick

How is Khozmo Stepped Attenuators?
for the resistors, here is his email to me: Resistors are vishay 1% 100ppm. Some of them are other brands like vitrohm or royalohm also 1% 100ppm. Have also attenuators with vishay/dale r55 resistors (see pic).- fsrick

Roll Call: Who's building, built, or thinking of building a beta22?
while i am building the beta 22, i just want to confirm the value of C1, is C1 always 33pF no matter what gain you use? since C1 is on the feedback path and i guess it is for the compensation,so I thought it will be depend on the gain. But it seems only C2-C5 changes with different gain. so...- fsrick
