Merton. I just got my 350's from Amazon too. No hiss on line out, phone out. Good sound and great features. For $99 flat can't beat that deal.

Can anyone suggest pads that will fit the Sennheiser HD 420's? Any comments on their sound quality. These are an older model that were well rated at one time.

I have an old Akai reel to reel tape recorder with crossfield heads and two separate tube amps, one for each channel from the 60's. It is a portable and very big and heavy. I feel like lugging it out to see how the amps sound with good earphones (grado 60's)
