In need of a new affordable cable
My headphones are the Sennheiser HD700 and for a while now the original cable has been splitting, today was the first sign of the sound cutting off on one side. For the past few weeks I've been looking for a replacement cable but I just get lost the more I look into it. It's just been such a...- -Frankz

6.3 to 3.5 Adapter Question
Aight thanks, well hmm. cant seem to find any "decent" ones on amazon.de, the 12€ gold plated plug one is sold out and all the other gold-plated are either cables or 1-2€ adapters, which seem a bit too cheap. There's plenty of non-gold plated adapters available, safe to go with those?- -Frankz

6.3 to 3.5 Adapter Question
After making this thread http://www.head-fi.org/t/753394/srh1540-or-hd700 I decided to go with the HD700. I think it's the right choice for me. Now I have another question, I will have to plug these into a 3.5 port and will need an adapter for that. Question: Does the quality of the...- -Frankz

Lately I felt like I could use an upgrade on the audio side of things & thats how I end up here. About 8 months ago I first came...- -Frankz

SRH1540 or HD700?
Thanks either way, you've definitely pointed me in the right direction! Six to eight hours a day is indeed quiet long and past a certain point any pair of headphones would get somewhat uncomfy. I guess I just wanted to be very clear that comfort is important to me :). If anyone else is able...- -Frankz

SRH1540 or HD700?
Read many reviews but hadn't found those yet! It took me a while to read both reviews & write everything down. Please keep in mind I'm not as technical as these reviewers when it comes to describing & commenting on the different types of sounds :P. Use case; Will wear these for...- -Frankz

SRH1540 or HD700?
Thank you for replying! I unfortunately haven't been able to try out that many headphones. The only memorable one was a 300-400€ BOSE headphone at the store. It definitely sounded better & more detailed than what I have at home(a gaming headset) but it felt like the bass was too much/exaggerated...- -Frankz

SRH1540 or HD700?
So I've been into lossless music for several months and I decided its time for a new headphone. The Shure SRH1540 were the ones that caught my eye with countless good reviews/awards and it has soft velour earpads(a must for me). But yesterday I noticed the Sennheiser HD700 headphone was being...- -Frankz
