Hi, everyone, I tried cleaning off earwax off both cups of my headphones by wiping the metal speaker grill with a microfiber cloth and a cotton bud dabbed with rubbing alcohol with a little pressure. The bass is now weak and sound quality not as great as before. Are the headphones damaged?

I've found that using Sennheiser's app Captune can restore the bass and bring the sound signature over wireless close to wired.
