How is the GS1000 with the SP Plat Extreme ? I'm now using RS1 with SP Plat and wondering how GS1k pairs with the SP Plat Regards Ferds

My 1st grado was the 125s which i really enjoyed. Now has ended with the RS1s. It will be here fr awhile until Grado comes one with a new model.

cant go wrong with the SP amps. I like mine alot with the RS1s.

Am sure you'll be happy with the Extreme Plat. I had mine since Feb & I love it along with the RS1s. Use good sources, cables, etc.-- this amp will just reveal as you upgrade your ancilliary gears.

Have RS1, SR125 and HD600 RS1-gets the most listening time. Maybe in the future would like to listen to audition GS1000 more closely. Otherwise , i'm just happy with my RS1s.

had the chance to listen to both ad2k and rs1 before settling on the rs1. I like the RS1s better compared to the ad2k. Otherwise i would have bought the ad2k with a few hundreds dollars cheaper. However i can see some people liking the ad2k. To each his own.

I think i will just enjoy my rs1s. They are sounding great as is. Save some $

i have not experence with 325i but have used 125s for quite sometime. THese are quite revealing & i wouldnt be suprised sound out of the macbook to be harsh or bright. However with a really good source and a good tube amp, that excess treble will transform to something silky and smooth which...

i 've owned the C542 and the 640c. I havent heard of the Marantz. Between the two that i owned, i get the 640c. It has a big, smooth sound.

anyone got both ? do they compliment or GS1000 just blows it out of the water ?
