I really think it's a hardware limitation, mostly processor, not firmware at all.

ok.. what card? brand, size? I'm experiencing issues on gapless Flac albums on SD only. normal Flac albums are ok (since they're not gapless). I think I'll just leave all gapless files internally and leave this behind. Thanks anyway.

Right. It was formatted on this allocation, and problems with big FLACs files (100Mb+) came (gaps on gapless FLAC albums when on SD card). I'd read somewhere that biggest allocations are good for large files because of the read speed. So you're saying that I should do the reformat on Guiformat...

Problem is win vista has only NTFS and exFAT. so I'm full formatting NTFS 32K on vista and will full reformat FAT32 32K on guiformat. +- 4 hours to do this all. Fingers crossed.

what was allocation you put when formatted?

I runned win tests on SD. Errors were found. Sadly still gapping on gapless album 24bit/192khz flacs. Need time and patience to reformat the SD.. Meanwhile I'll use internal memory for gapless max bitrates flacs. Damn, God knows I'm tired about it.

What was your copy method? Card reader? USB?
