We had to wait 2-3 years to get that - check this thread! But resume for podcasts usually doesn't work, I check with my own podcasts, it's not 100% reliable like iPod Nano is. It quite often forgets. Also I think they never supported some of the audiobook formats?

Sorry for the belated reply - but I use Dapper which you can find in the App Store. It's really good and works with iTunes, and you can create playlists it works from for those of us with massive libraries. Just setup as a generic DAP, you'll be fine.

Hope it lasts longer than mine - mine fell apart within 6 months. Utter crap.

So does Linux/Unix. Files and directories starting with a dot e,g. .config or ._Trash are hidden. Windows shows all files, regardless. But I turned that off as explained above, and the _explaylist dir didn't appear. And it doesn't start with a dot...

It is odd since OSX can have directory names starting in _ - I checked (but not on an exFat device). So it's either something to do with how this particular directory is generated by the m0, or some exFat/OSX incompatibility.

And it took me ages to get my VirtualBox working, but can confirm it's OSX - Windows10 sees the same directory fine, the playlist works fine. Something odd about that directory on OSX.

Even tried turning off the hidden files in this: https://www.howtogeek.com/211496/how-to-hide-files-and-view-hidden-files-on-mac-os-x/ and _explaylist_data doesn't show.

Case in point - I quit that sync, or tried to - the program spinny balled and froze, I did a force quit and now - won't scan the drive even after reselecting it.

Well it's for times like this - sometimes my DAP (Shanling M0) syncs REALLY slowly, and of course now I can't 'quit' this sync, there is no cancel button. If I crash out of the program - or the very few times it's crashed - or quit and restart quite often Dapper either freezes or cannot see the...

As an aside - in High Sierra I have this from time to time especially if the app is quit out of/frozen and restarted. I was wondering is there a way to resolve it without a reboot?
