Just throwing in my two cents re: u12t and mega5est. u12t is for when I want to listen to analytical elements and detail. Mega5 is for when I want to feel the bass in my chest and relax/just enjoy the music.

I have the same problem. It's primarily why I don't use the white whale cable. It's just not weighty enough to sit well and just coiling the cable for storage is enough to give it enough spring to sit off of my ears.

Haven't tried davinci unfortunately.

The mx module is quite a bit more open sounding and also lets quite a bit of sound leak while the m20 module sounds like a closed vented iem. Never experienced any whistling from any of the modules nor any wind noise. As far as isolation, it's on par with just about every other vented iem.

To be fair, just because you've been doing something for a long time, it doesn't necessarily mean you're any good at it.

No, received my universal set (I was deep in the preorders from headphones.com). I'm highly debating a custom set now though.

They did the same thing with a cable I'm waiting on. First and last order with them. It's still marked as available, and they're not getting stock until the end of the month.

That's basically where I stand. Finger on the trigger, just waiting to hear...anything about it. Love the physical controls, tidal is the only streaming platform I use, and it seems like the form factor is right for me.
