One last question (I hope...), Do I need amp for the 840 ? probaly not since it is only 32 ohms... And it bothers me why there are so little reviews about the 840 (and also about the 860 & 880) I didn't found any "normal" review and most of the information I have is from this thread...!- erasure

Just wanted to say that I very happy with this new DAP and it is much better then the J3 in terms of sound quality and output strength. But even after updating to 1.10 it is still a little lagging in songs list view...- erasure
