One last question (I hope...), Do I need amp for the 840 ?   probaly not since it is only 32 ohms...   And it bothers me why there are so little reviews about the 840 (and also about the 860 & 880)   I didn't found any "normal" review and most of the information I have is from this thread...!

if I can buy the 840 for less then 120 dollars, is it a good deal ?   or there are a better options for this price ?

What do you think about the beyer T51P (they are the same price as the 840) ???

I already have the Ultrasone HFI-2400, HFI-550 & PRO 550 is the 840 a better choice for EDM music ?

Reply to sledgeharvy   Which headphones are you using with the above settings ?    I think "Normal" headphones can explode from the amount of the bass...!!!

Just wanted to say that I very happy with this new DAP and it is much better then the J3 in terms of sound quality and output strength.   But even after updating to 1.10 it is still a little lagging in songs list view...

Just returned with my new DAP  !!!   Updating to the new 1.10 firmware...   Thanks for all the help...   I will write more after I will finish all the updates...

  Actually both the Clip+ & the J3 drive the headphones very well BUT almost to the maximum of the players (80%),   And they rated at least half power of the M3, this is the reason I thought the M3 will be powerful enough...   The J3 is rated as 29mw The Clip+ rate as 16mw   And the M3...
