AKG K361/K371
I don't know, the picture is from a review on AKGs website for the K371-BT. The review is 10 months old and the reviewer state the headphones are 6 month old.- Emulle

AKG K361/K371
I have been using the K371 for about a week now, and I feel they work perfectly as a substitute for the HD6XX when I'm not sitting in front of my PC. I do have some worries though as to the quality of the headband. I have a fairly large head and I can clearly see some stress where the plastic...- Emulle

It's to easily discern left/right side if you put em on in the dark. So yes, braille in a sense. :beerchug:- Emulle

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Oh I see, what did you use your magni with? Yeah I must say LG V/G series with their DACs do some serious lifting for being a phone. I am quite happy with my LG V20 but I would like some more oumph. Just a thought, could I use my V20 to passthrough as a DAC and spend more money on a good...- Emulle

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Hey fellas. What's the general consensus on the 'best' desktop DAC/AMP combo for the HD650/6xx? Is it the Bottlehead Crack (w/ speedball or wo/ speedball)? I am looking for something to use at my desktop with my PC. I was also wondering if anyone use a portable USB-C DAC/AMP and are happy...- Emulle

USB-C to 3.5mm adapters (DAC) - Let's find the best
My preferred choice would be something with the same form factor as iBasso DC01, so that I can use the tablet while listening. It can be bigger than that, but not like the Topping, would take up too much space in the bag unfortunately.- Emulle

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
The bit-perfect setting is within the UAPP app. I am unsure to whether or not you will get a 44.1KHz sound with Spotify or the Android standard 48KHz, since I have not done any measurements on Oreo - With Nougat you had to enable a flag in Build.prop for that to happen (Root needed).- Emulle

Buy UAPP and enable bit-perfect mode (i.e. disable all audio enhancements and the like). You really won't need any mods for a good SQ!- Emulle

Best Smartphone for audiophile Part II (Updated: Jan 2020)
Not really no, the main difference will be the characteristics of the sound but in terms of volume it'll be around the same. I think that you would only notice a difference if you had all three phones and switched between them on the same song.- Emulle

Thank you, but I was hoping there would be newer devices. I see no reason to exchange my V20 for an older device.- Emulle
