Hi Guys! PC Audio Setup help (headphones)?... Please?
No, in every digital signal chain there's a DAC, an amplifier and then the headphones. I cannot give you a recommendation for any of these, but maybe you won't want to buy a DAC, because maybe you have a soundcard built into your computer which is good enough. Maybe you also won't want an...- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
No I won't try all this as I'm fairly certain that it's not the speakers or the DAC. As I said with the other speakers - where I bought the whole equipment - I had the same problem. And the DAC works fine with other equipment. It's also not the file quality.- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
When I was auditioning the older pair of speakers, the source was a receiver. We streamed my own music to it, which then sent it to a DAC/amp using USB and then to the speakers. I bought exactly the same equipment, safe the receiver and used my computer. With my A5+ now I'm using USB into an...- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
No I'm using the USB into an external DAC. And what I didn't say is that I didn't audition the A5+, only some other speakers. But they suffer from the same problem. When buying those other speakers, I bought and used exactly the same equipment, just not the same source (was a receiver and I am...- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
Maybe it's just the noisy signal from the computer? When auditioning, the source was not a computer, but I have no idea how big of a difference this can make.- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
No, there never was a subwoofer. The room is about medium, I'd say. Sounds reverberate in this room. But they sound bad when having your head 50 cm away, too. Speakers are directly at the wall, but were when auditioning, too. It's difficult for me to describe what's worse. They have less...- eiouwa

(help) Speakers not sounding as good on my computer as when auditioning them
Hi. My Audioengine A5+ speakers don't sound as good when listening to them through my computer as they should. All connections are fine, I'm using a good USB cable going to the DAC and I'm using Kernel Streaming on foobar. What could be the cause of this? It's not the speakers, they don't sound...- eiouwa

Sound doesn't work anymore on the right side
Yes I also thought that it's unlikely that the voice coil is 'dead' now. I'll have a closer look at the inside some time.- eiouwa

Sound doesn't work anymore on the right side
Hello. My K701s recently fell down to the floor, now the right side dosn't work anymore. I don't see any obvious damage on the headphones. Is there anythig I could do to get it working again? What could have gotten damaged when nothing is visible?- eiouwa

Connecting headphone output of soundcard with speaker amplifier?
Hello. I have a soundcard, but I don't know which model. There are four 3,5mm outputs. My speaker amplifier is connected to the 3,5mm output which I previously used for some 20 Dollar active speakers and also headphones. Is this the right output to connect the amp to? I'm asking, cause as it...- eiouwa
