Best IEMs for bass, isolation, and good all around sound

I can testify for the Monster MDT. I can't praise them enough - If you can get a good deal on them you won't regret it. They have everything; great bass, lush, engaging mids and sweet highs without a hint of harshness. One of the most musical in ears out there.

I'm after a pair of portable headphones

Quote: You've lost me.  Quote: I can't seem to find them in the UK.     So how do people feel about the ATH-ES10 being used as a portable HP? Like I said, I do wear my HP's around my neck for the majority of the time, so the ability of folding them flat to get out...

I'm after a pair of portable headphones

The ATH-ES10's are really starting to interest me the more I read about them. They're at the very top of my budget but I'm at least willing to give them a go if I don't find any better alternatives.   I like the way they swivel flat so that they are less intrusive while worn around the neck...

I'm after a pair of portable headphones

Greetings fellow music lovers   I recently got myself a pair of IEMs - the Monster MDT's - and I'm loving them so far. They are very enjoyable to listen to - very "alive" sounding and offer me a great option when I want ultra portability. But I can't help but feel something is missing...

    $4-500 for Progressive House, etc.

I was going to get the iE8's a few days ago, until I found out that the iE 80's were coming out later this month so I decided to hold off. And then I heard about the Monsters, which I too was totally against due to the bad rep of their lower line phones. That all changed when I was introduced to...

    IEMs for under £350

Quote: Already got some MMDT's mate.    My next IEMs are definitely going to be customs though. A toss up between Westone es5's, JH13's and UM Miracles. Until then, I'm just going to kick back and enjoy these.

    IEMs for under £350

Quote: I love absolutely everything about them except for the cable. It's a bit too thin for my liking, but with a life-time warranty you can't really complain. Testing the tips, I'm not too fond of the super tips. The gel ones just don't agree with my ears - the foam aren't too bad but...

    $4-500 for Progressive House, etc.

You should consider either the Monster MDT or Coppers. Got the MDT's today and I'm loving the sound. Amazing bass extension with great impact, you can actually feel the air being moved by the drivers. The mids are really lush. They are up there with the highly rated mids of the SE535's imo. The...

    IEMs for under £350

Just got my Tributes in today, Wow. These things are freaking beautiful and the sound... Eargasm galore! Far and away better SQ than my HD25-1 II and the bass... Never heard anything so sweet sounding.   I'm still trying out the different tips but my God, these things can sing. I'm so glad I...

Tried my Westone 4s today for the first time

Quote: Do you have any experience with the Monster Miles Davis Tributes? And how they compare to the Westone 4's for conveying emotion?

Sennheiser HD25-1 II, Shure SRH840 or Westone UM3X?

Quote: If you can afford them, get the Monster Miles Davis Tributes. For the music you listen to, you won't regret it.

    Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10, Klipsch Custom 3's, Image X 10's or IE8's?

I have four words for you - Monster Miles Davis Tribute. You have to check them out.

Atrio MG7 the best IEM for a basshead audiophile?

Quote:   It ain't all about the bass. ;)   I don't think you'll find many more bass heavy IEM's than the Atrio tbh.

    IEMs for under £350

http://www.head-fi.org/t/481153/ie8-vs-monster-turbine-pro-copper-gold-md-for-techno     That is what did for me in the end. With the Monsters being cheaper, what have I to lose?

    IEMs for under £350

Quote: In every comparison I have read between the two, the main consensus is that the MD's are an upgrade on the iE8's sound-wise - better in every frequency including bass, but especially the mids. The mids are said be be rivalling that of the SE535's.   I'll let you guys know...
