Sometimes certain motherboards can cause usb devices to act funny when the computer goes to sleep i would check the bios and see if there is any usb settings in the bios cause that can definatly cause things like that

Funny enough im actually listening to one of my favorite game sound tracks being jet set radio. The music for that game was super well done and I would reccomend checking it out
