what about the creative gigaworks t20, 2.0 speakers? no sub to muddy up the music. supposedly pretty good too, if you arent a bass-head (according to reviews).

Im thinking of using a set of external speakers with my laptop; but my laptop only has a headphone out. Does anyone have any recommendations on any good, cheap (~$50 or less) USB, external soundcards that offer unamped line-outs? I was thinking m-audio sonica... thanks.

Does anyone know where to get replacement earpads for a500s? Audiocubes have a900 replacement pads listed but no where does it say those pads are compatible with a500s. I would assume they use the same pads, but I just wanted to make sure. Or if anyone has replaced a500 pads with better ones...

yep, i got my dt880s last week, and they sound very good out of my maxed meta42. i still think my old ety er4s sounded more detailed, but the dt880s are sooooo muc hmore comfortable (which is the MAIN reason why i switched). if the etys were more comfortable, i would really stick with them. but...
