Just arrived today. Foam deteriorated, but a quick re-build & they're good to go. I was pleasantly surprised. Vocals are good. Treble isn't brash. Bass extension could be better, but overall they're nicely balanced & comfortable.- Drums4money

I was thinking that it could be wrapped very easily with paracord. Pull the ends through like you'd wrap an eyelet on a fly-rod. That'd be a quick fix.- Drums4money

whoa. just received a pair of these today. funky for sure. A little grimey, but I guess that's to be expected in almost 40 years of dirt collecting. Foam internals of the ear pads has long deteriorated. The nylon ear pieces pulled away (carefully / slowly) without tearing, so reloading...- Drums4money
