Even I was considering fiio x1. .costing around 7000 rs, in hifdivision.com just a month back some one sold sony nwz a 17 for 12000rs I missed again good deal..how about sansa clip plus..I have heard great things about that..is it really that great?- drmurali

X2 as I said Don want to take chance with them..as they are new. ..with very few reviews, it's between cowon I 9 or I 9 + vs sandisk sansa clip plus, or sony also will do..I mostly listen to songs in gym. .so no point in using a amp like folio e6..- drmurali

How about the the mp3 layer I have ipod shuffle which is not that good sounding,cowon I audio e3 when played, in neutral it's not good at all but with some eq. Settings it sounds much better but..the output is quite low..can u suggest me a good pump, cowon I audio i9 costs 50 dollars or sandisk...- drmurali

Thanks a ton hqssui, reviews about xduoo x2 are mixed, I already wasted 10000 inr. Budget under 150 dollars, I can use an arm band even if it's not compact or small,I liked cowon e3 but it's audio output is low..does sansa clip +sounds louder, since its for gym, already loud sound keeps coming from speakers installed in the gym, how about cowon I audio 9 ,there is open box...- drmurali

Btw I have ipod shuffle and cowon I audio e3 I am not happy with sound quality of both of them..cowon is better sounding of both but sound output loudness is low...can u suggest one pump. .I use it primarily for gym..but sound quality is the most important factor..already wasted doo much money...- drmurali

Oh ya..sorry for the same question again.. if I wish to go for non brainwavz which is better, I previously owned a sony Ericsson k 750 phone. .till date that was the best sound I have heard, earphones which were provided inside the box were excellent too..but that's not 3.5 mm..one- drmurali
