    HELP with cmoy board design

i currently have no R5 resistor Here is a more detailed pic of where every element is If anyone sees something wrong please tell me

    HELP with cmoy board design

i've already checked and all resistors, caps n stuff are solidly soldered to the board i've already resoldered them a couple of times, but no luck.I've also tried a few different opamps and some barley work(at max volume there is barely any sound coming from them and it's very distorted)

    HELP with cmoy board design

Hi,again my 2nd try has somehow failed.. i did everything in the same way but there's massive distortion/clipping(not sure which but noticed that bass notes create more of it than mid frequencies) I've tried almost everything changed he diode, chaged power cap, changed decoupling caps(tried...

    HELP with cmoy board design

I've got one last question. Is it possible to connect the 6th and seventh leg of the IC socket togeter instead of using a jumper(R5) to jump over the BAT+ path

    HELP with cmoy board design

FIXED IT !!! Turned the IC Socket on the copper side, then checked all my chanel connections and found out that the jumper(C2 cap) was not actually soldered P.S:I noticed that there is this popping at 1/2 intervals when there is no signal, however as soon as i start something even if it is...

    HELP with cmoy board design

lol the only thing that could be wrong is the IC socket and CAP's resistors doesn't matter

    HELP with cmoy board design

Hi,again.I've almost finished the build.I've even test ran the amp but it didn't quite turn out the way i expected. One channel was very quiet and the other was at moderate volume, while the phones used directly trough my phone are far louder. What i mean is that the amp actualy quietens the sound...

    HELP with cmoy board design

ah and another thing i forgot to ask about,On the POT which leg is which?Mine has two rows of three legs, someone said to me that the middle is for connection to the board and the other two don't matter(not that they won't be connected to gnd and 3.5mm jack) BTW: I have in my possession...

    HELP with cmoy board design

ok so i'll be bypassing the C2 caps since my audio card (Auzentech X-plosion) already has DC Decoupling caps on it's opamps,by the way is there a differance between diodes? cuz if there isn't i'll probably get a bigger(5mm) superbright one.

    HELP with cmoy board design

good i hope you're right .I've already started to build the board and bought all the elements except the C2 caps which i cannot seem to find.I've went to several electronics shops and everyone said they didn't have any 0.1uF or 100nF caps at all

    HELP with cmoy board design

Since i can't find a radioshack proto board i've decided to design my own layout of the cmoy design based on the protoboard one.I just need someone to do a check for me and tell me if my design will work so that i can start work. Here is the diagram from which my design is based of...

    Another First Build of Cmoy

i'm not missing the connections they are right there on the virtual ground, maybe you are mistaking the resistors connections which is horizontal not diagonal, but as i am looking at it now there would be too much space between the + and - of the Power led so maybe i'll do the resistors diagonally...

    Another First Build of Cmoy

thanks, just figured that out by myself looking at one of the schemes in tangentsoft's pdf by the way if my version of the scheme is correct so far,i've almost figured out how to align the paths so that the in/out jacks can be surface mounted, also the volume pot can be surface mounted if i...

    Another First Build of Cmoy

i've just found out a few teaks that i can implement since building my own schematic/board.I've read that the Resistor R5 is not neccessary so i'll be removing the holes and aligning the ground/left/right input/output holes in a way from which i can mount the 3.5mm jacks onto the board instead...
