This has been sorted. Looks like a few files in one album which I haven't listened to for while were corrupt. Works flawlessly now.

Thank you - I have tried to load the music through a card reader first and that's when it didn't work. Now I have reformatted the card with the player itself and loading the music in 7-10 GB bits rebuilding database every time. Approx 40 GB in right now. So far so good fingers crossed.
