    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

My m100's were purchased in January of this year and the plastic on them is a joke. I have a crack in one ear cup that is beginning to spread and a crack in each of the rings that hold the earpads. I've been holding off on the warranty because I just didnt want to deal with it. If I send them...

iem most similar to m100 sound under $100

Over the past few Years I've been searching for the perfect sound signature for enjoying my music and I found it in the m100. The punchy bottom end and lively but not harsh top just do it for me. However when I'm out and about I find myself wanting an iem but don't want to leave the m100...

V-Moda M-100 headphone cable Please help!

If your handy and want to make a cable yourself these connectors fit easily into the vmoda headphones, use some redco TGS-1 wire and whatever termination you want and you'll have a cable that some companies would charge an arm and a leg for.

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

I figured I'd update the status of my m100's, these m100's are exactly 4 months old and although I love the sound and enjoy them very much IMO their quality just does not even come close to the $300 price tag and I'm glad I didn't pay full price for them.   The right earcup is now cracked in...

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

Im not sure how Red Jacket Mike was able to get a mediabridge cable to work in his v-moda headphones but I have one of those cables I purchased for something else and it definitely does NOT fit in my m100's. Also the mediabridge cable is heavily shielded, thick, heavy and not very flexible. It...

    V-MODA M-100: Discussion/Feedback, Reviews, Pics, etc.

My m100's have been cracked since late February and they were purchased late January. It took exactly 31 days for them to develop a pretty size-able crack. I think the plastic that is used for the earcups is much too brittle although the hardness of the plastic may have an impact on the sound.

I think I might have blown/messed up my headphones

sounds like an issue with the files, if it's the exact same noise at the exact same time every time and changes with the volume of the device then it is definitely the files

Loudest and leakiest headphones on the market?

why not go for a super long life rugged Bluetooth speaker, and couple it with a large external battery to charge not only the speaker but any other devices.   I'd recommend the Braven BRV-1, it is waterproof, drop proof and has a 12 hour playtime. I've left my braven in my car turned on for a...

    Sennheiser HD518 HD558 HD598 HD559 HD589 HD579 HD599 Support Thread

If you take the 558's apart and remove the little plastic nub that interlocks with the stock connector you can just use a basic slim 2.5mm to 3.5m adaptor such as this. An alternative to this method would be to dremel a slot into the adapter to mimic the stock connector, I tried this myself and...

    $300 over-ear headphone recommendation

depends on what kind of music you listen to   I listen to melodic dubstep, a little bit of EDM, new age rock and a bit of older metal and I find the V-moda M100's to be a very good fit for my tastes.   for headphone that fit your requirements i've only tried the m100 and the ue6000, the...
