Yeah, I thought of that too with a Schiit DAC, but the idea of being able to switch out tubes for a slightly different sound just seems like it'd be fun to experiment with.

Interesting, how high were you cranking it? Would the T1 be a better bet for them? Or something else entirely? I'm not really looking to spend a ton on the set up.

The only problem with those is the velour ear pads. I'm not the hugest fan of that material on my head. They also don't have a detachable cable which is something I was also interested in. Being able to change out the lengths will come in very handy for me.

Ideally I don't want to spend too much, I likely won't be using these as much when I move next year and get a speaker system. I'll check out those tubes! What amp do you use?   Yeah the weight I've heard can be a bit much, how bad are the connectors? Are they really fragile?

Hey guys I'm thinking of buying a pair of these, would a LittleDot III or Aune T1 be a good amp to pair with them?

I think it'll be fine, it's not like I'll be sitting beside them it's for when I'm in my room. We have polished concrete floors and sound travels pretty easily if it's played through speakers.

Unfortunately I can't get a sound card, it's a laptop I'll be using. I have a Xonar STX in my PC, it lives in the living room though.
